Where are you from?

Harlem, New York

What are your many talents?

I really do have a whole lot! My main things are singing of course, rapping, but I don’t take rapping that seriously, dancing, shooting videos, and engineering. I went to school for engineering. 3 years. Golf!

Of those many talents, what is your favorite?

Definitely has to be singing and rapping. I’m an actor too. That’s where I’m trying to get to. That’s my stepping stone.

How did you get started singing?
Well, my dad was a singer. He was a nice little singer in Puerto Rico. He played the saxophone and the piano so I guess it just skipped on down to Fly. He was a REALLY nice singer. A lot of people didn’t understand what he was saying though because he spoke a lot of Spanish.

Is that who inspired you?
Yes, my dad did. That’s my role model.

What projects are you currently working on?
Well I got the single I call “All Night,” and I’m so fast I just can’t wait until the next one comes out. I have another one coming out called “Get your Number.” I just want to keep the ball rolling and hit them from all different angles.

What’s your ultimate goal as an artist?
I’m trying to do 50 states. I’m trying to do all 50 states, and go crazy with that. My whole goal is to have these major labels drooling like who is this kid that did 50 states without a major budget? That’s my ultimate goal.

What’s next?

Once I get done with my journey with the 50 states, I wrote a movie called “Go Hard.” It’s a dancing movie. It’s something like “You Got Served” and “Stomp the Yard” but it’s more drama and suspense. I want to be able to direct that and play the main character. It’s a nice movie. It took me about 3 years to write it.

What would you want the readers to know about you that you feel is important?
I’m a very humble cat. I help everybody. I’m definitely not jealous of anybody. I just want to help. If there’s any artist out there that need my I help, I tell them all the time on Facebook. I put it on my status, let me know, come to the studio and I’ll help you.

What studio are you at?

Munkiboi, MBE.

Is it very different in Naptown that it is in Harlem?
Oh yes! These dudes down here get away with a lot of stuff…but I love it here. I like Indianapolis. It’s kinda slow and I get to take my time doing things. New York is so fast paced that you have to hurry up and do things.
